The team evaluated seven glove varieties, meticulously documenting each interaction between gloved hands and laboratory surfaces. All conventional gloves produced approximately 2,000 erroneous detections per square millimeter of contact. Specially formulated clean-room gloves, manufactured without stearates, reduced false readings to merely 100 per square millimeter, presenting a superior option for glove-required procedures.
