After you get your SOC 2 report, you’re probably thinking it’ll unlock a lot of doors and enterprise sales will get a lot easier. That is sort of the case. Our experience is that quite a few enterprises simply don’t care and won’t even look at your report or your trust page. They just tick some internal box and move on. Other companies, on the other hand, are a lot stricter and won’t take your SOC 2 report as proof of sufficient security at face value. Those companies will want you to prove and defend what you’re claiming.
