This guide demonstrates hands-on implementation of the A-Evolve system within Colab, constructing a comprehensive evolutionary agent workflow from initial setup to completion. We initialize the code repository, establish an OpenAI-integrated agent, create specialized evaluation metrics, and develop a custom evolution mechanism to observe how A-Evolve enhances agent capabilities through progressive workspace modifications. Throughout the implementation, we utilize fundamental framework components including prompts, capabilities, storage systems, evaluation metrics, and evolutionary processes, enabling both operational understanding and practical customization within the Colab environment.
